100 Mile Man Arrested After Uttering Threats

Charges are being requested by the RCMP after a man allegedly threatened a group of people with a weapon in 100 Mile House.

The RCMP say the incident occurred in the parking lot of a business along highway 97.

They say the male suspect approached a group of people and became angry, who then produced a steel pipe and started to utter threats.

The RCMP say while no one was hurt in this incident, the suspect did cause some damage to a camper in the parking lot with the steel pipe.

The suspect could be facing charges of assault with a weapon, mischief under $5000 and breach of a recognizance.
