Wranglers Looking for a Big Weekend With 2 Home Games

Gaining 3 points last week, the 100 Mile Wranglers will look to grab 4 more this weekend with home games against Osoyoos and Princeton.

With the KIJHL season being almost a quarter of the way done, Wrangler Head Coach Dale Hladun said the team is slowly gaining their identity.

“I like us to be a tough team to play against. We’re still learning. The second game against Revelstoke we were very physical and tough to play against. Kamloops came here and we were tough to play against, but when we went to Sicamous we were a tough team to play against for only 1 period. So we have to have that characteristic.”

Hladun says the structure of the team is still coming along as players sift into their roles, whether that is on the power play or penalty kill.

The Wranglers currently sit in 2nd place of the Doug Birks Division at 10 points, which is 5 points back of Revelstoke.
