Work for a new building which could house four new businesses at Prosperity Ridge in Williams Lake continues.

Principal of Platform Properties Kyle Shury says they are breaking ground which will allow them to get the servicing work done before the weather turns on them and be in the position to recommence construction in the early start of the new year.

He says they are hopeful to turn over space in the about 8,000 square foot building to retailers by the spring with store openings in the fall of next year.

Shury adds that there is confirmed retailer although he is bound under the terms of the release by confidentiality.

“That call is up for the tenant so we do need to wait for their blessing, and my feeling is that probably won’t be announced until next spring.”
