The Two Rivers Boxing Club in Quesnel has received a prestigious award.
Wally Doern says they were voted Club of the Year at the annual AGM in Vancouver.
“It’s a big accomplishment, it’s a I guess you might say a pat on the back to all the boxers that work hard and compete and i guess also for myself and the other coaches. It’s an accomplishment from all levels of the club, everybody that walks through those doors has contributed to this award.”
The club also won this award back in 2001.
It will be hung on the wall prior to the club hosting the Bronze Gloves near the end of November.
