The 100 Mile Wranglers are doing their part to help with the rebuilding process of the wildfires.
The local hockey team will be sporting some new jerseys in recognition of everyone who helped save the community.
Wrangler President Tom Bachynski describes the new sweaters.
“Well on the back, we have embedded all the communities that were affected by the fires and then on the front we have the names of the fires.”
Bachynski says the team will be holding a silent auction all throughout October with proceeds going towards rebuilding the community.
The new jerseys will be worn at every home game in October and also the November 17th match vs Kamloops in Quesnel.
