A man sustained injuries in what Williams Lake RCMP is calling a serious assault at the pullout on Highway 97 south.
A Crimestoppers release issued Thursday requests the public’s assistance on the incident which occurred in the early evening of Saturday, September 23 by the ‘Welcome to Williams Lake’ sign.
The man who was conducting mechanical repairs to his vehicle at the pullout was reportedly approached by a male subject who assaulted him with a baseball bat.
