Results in from 2017 BC Barrel Racing Finals In Williams Lake

An Okanagan cowgirl was the overall champion in the open division at the BC Barrel Racing Finals in Williams Lake over the weekend.

Gina Volansky won the average over three runs.

Mariah Mannering from Quesnel had a rough go on Friday night but bounced back with a 4th place showing on Saturday and she and her horse “Hoss” won Sunday’s go round.

Taylan James from Cache Creek was the overall champion in the Junior division.

Reese Rivet from Williams Lake was third.

And Kaitlyn Lulua from the Lake City won the Pee Wee championship placing first on both Friday and Saturday and then third on Sunday.

Quesnel’s Kira Stowell was third.

All tolled more than 300 people took part in the Finals.
