An arrest has been made following an assault in the South Cariboo early this morning.
100 Mile House RCMP Staff Sergeant Svend Nielsen says they were called to the Forest Grove area just after midnight .
He says this incident also involved a single vehicle accident where the vehicle ended up in the ditch.
Nielsen says the police dog services was brought in from Williams Lake and they tracked a suspect back to his house where he was eventually taken into custody.
He says the victim in the assault suffered minor injuries.
RCMP will release more information at a later date.
