Early spring on the way says Environment Canada

A chilly morning across the Cariboo should not hamper early spring weather to be coming in.

With colder than normal weather trends expected to continue until the end of the month for regions east from Alberta, it will be quite the opposite for B.C.

Lisa Coldwells, Meteorologist with Environment Canada says the mild conditions can be thanked from a 10-year pattern event which is allowing an upper ridge system to stay put.

Environment Canada is forecasting temperatures throughout B.C’s Central Interior, Lower Mainlands, and Kootenays to reach double digits later into the week.
