North Bonaparte Road is now open in both directions after the Cariboo Regional District rescinded the evacuation order to an alert for the surrounding area around highway 24.
The CRD reminds residents that the Elephant Hill wildfire is still active in the area and the smoke advisory is still in effect.
An evacuation order remains in place for the area between Watch Lake and Sheridan Lake.
