Suspects Arrested Following Drug Bust In Williams Lake

Three people have been arrested following a drug bust in Williams Lake.

RCMP say they executed a search warrant today and seized crack cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, heroin, numerous pills and a large amount of Canadian currency.

An insecure firearm was also located.

The suspects have since been released from custody on a promise to appear in court in October.

“Continued targeting of illicit drug trafficking and weapons possession remain a detachment priority even through our wildfire deployment,” says Inspector Jeff Pelley, Officer In Charge of the Williams Lake Detachment.

“We would like to thank the public for their help and continued support. We would like to remind everyone that if they see any suspicious activity, to report it to the police.”
