Quesnel Archer Brings Home Two Medals From Nationals.

A Quesnel archer came home with a couple of medals from the Canadian Championships in Quesnel.

16-year old Emerie Watson, who won silver in the field competition late last week, won a bronze medal in the target competition on the weekend.

Watson was 3rd out of 10 competitors and was just 7 points out of 2nd.

She will represent Canada later this year at the World Championships in Argentina.

There were three other Cariboo archers at the Nationals.

Sydney Watson was 6th out of 14 in the Ladies division, just 4 points out of 4th.

Williams Lake’s Ty Thurow, who won a silver medal in the field competition, was 4th in the target event Cub Men and Al Campsall, who also won a silver in the Master Men field event, was also 4th in target.
