Alexis Creek Health Centre Closed

The Alexis Creek Health Centre has been affected by an evacuation order due to wildfire activity in the area, and is closed indefinitely.

Residents living in the rural remote region are advised to consider the following for health care needs:

  • For non-urgent matters, individuals can access service through the West Chilcotin Health Centre
    in Tatla Lake.
  • In an emergency, call 9-1-1
  • If you’re unsure of your health care needs, please consider calling HealthLink BC at 8-1-1, to
speak to a registered nurse, dietitian or pharmacist.

“Given the changing nature of the wildfire situation, Interior Health (IH) will continue to update residents on the status of facilities and health services,” stated Interior Health.

“Please visit our Major Events page on the IH website for further information.”
