The Cariboo Cougars have clinched home ice advantage throughout the BC Major Midget Hockey League playoffs.
The Cougars picked up three of 4 points from the 2nd place Vancouver Northwest Giants in Burnaby over the weekend.
The two teams battled to a 2-2 tie on Saturday night.
Williams Lake’s Chase Dubois picked up a goal in that game.
Colton Thomas, also from the Lake City, had a goal and 2 assists in a 4-2 Cougars’ victory on Sunday.
They are now 29-7 and 2 on the season.
