Shaw customers should have now their services back up and running following an interruption Wednesday afternoon due to a single vehicle incident which sparked a brush fire off the Trans Canada Highway near Cherry Creek.
Fibre repairs were completed with services restored early Thursday morning according to Shaw.
A spokesperson says that techs confirmed the fibre damage had occurred due to the vehicle incident and that for safety reasons they had to wait for the smoke to clear before proceeding with repairs.
The disruption had affected Shaw customers within the interior of the province between Kamloops and Prince George.
