A 46-year-old male resident of Quesnel has been arrested after breaking and entering into the Royal Canadian Legion.
Quesnel RCMP say the incident occurred Thursday morning at approximately 5:40 and that early in the investigation a suspect was identified and later arrested.
“The RCMP shares the public’s outrage that an institution, such as the Legion, was victimized in this incident and we would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating this male,” said Staff Sgt. Andrew Burton.
A court date of August 8th has been set for the suspect.
