School district receives lifesaving skills and equipment

Local secondary teachers (five from Williams Lake and two from 100 Mile House) received CPR and ACT (Advanced Coronary Treatment) training this morning at the Williams Lake Secondary School through a $9,316 donation from RBC.

The 8-hour training will allow the teachers to teach CPR and ACT to grade 10 PE students in School District 27.

The funds will also the allow the purchase of defibrillators each at the Williams Lake Secondary School and Peter Skene Ogden Secondary School.
