A wildfire five kilometers south of Pantage Lake is under control.
Fire information officer with the Cariboo Fire Centre, Natasha Broznitsky says that as of Wednesday, June 14 the 168-hectare blaze was 100% contained and 6 firefighters were on site to look for any remaining hot spots.
The fire which was reported on June 4 was started by lightning.
Broznitsky says only 4 of the 38 wildfires within the Cariboo Fire Centre this year have been caused by lightning. The other 34 were human-caused and therefore preventable.
