The Tsilhqot’in National Government (TNG) held a public meeting in Tatla Lake on Friday to provide an update on discussion happening with the provincial and federal governments, as well as an overview of the Tsilhqot’in Decision.
Chief Roger William, TNG Vice Chair and Chief of the Xeni Gwet’in, says the 150-year journey from the Chilcotin War in 1864 to today has been of sadness and pain and adds that in order to move forward, we need to understand each other and work together.
Approximately 50 residents were in attendance.
