Highway 97 remains closed in both directions about 20 kilometers north of Clinton following a serious multi-vehicle incident which claimed two lives Thursday evening.
RCMP have confirmed the accident involved a car and a semi-unit.
A detour is available at Chasm Road.
An unofficial source says the highway will be closed until the coroner arrives from Vancouver. DriveBC states that an estimated time of opening is 8pm.
