CRD’s “Board on the Road” in 100 Mile House

This week’s CRD board meetings are being held in 100 Mile House as part of “Board on the Road”.

Cariboo Regional District Chair Al Richmond explains what it’s purpose is.

“It’s an opportunity to get out and see people in other communities, other than being in Williams Lake and provide board members with an overview of different communities that they don’t always see. So the board meeting this time is in 100 Mile and in September it’ll be out in Area J we’re not sure if it’ll be in the Nemiah Valley yet or just where it will be”.

The CRD will have it’s committee of the whole meeting this afternoon at one followed by a Community barbecue from 5 til 7 at the Creekside Seniors Activity Centre.

“Board on the Road” will wrap up tomorrow with a Cariboo Chilcotin Regional Hospital District meeting.
