Young Cariboo Cowboy Steals Show In Kispiox

It was quite a weekend for a young 150-Mile cowboy at the BC Rodeo Association’s Kispiox Valley Rodeo.

Brock Everett had the only catch in the Junior Breakaway Roping and won more than a thousand dollars, thanks to 677 dollars in ground money.

Quesnel’s Perri-Lynn Leneve had the fastest time in the Ladies Barrel Racing for 997 dollars.

The Quesnel duo of Dustin Spiers and Kyle Mcnaughton won the Team Roping with a time of 7 and 1 for 882 dollars.

Williams Lake’s Brianna Billy took the Junior Barrel Racing while Quesnel’s Kira Stowell captured the Pee Wee Barrels.
