Williams Lake RCMP were quick to respond to a report of an assault with a weapon Thursday afternoon.
Police say that just before four they were called by the Canadian Tire store manager after the suspect pulled a knife on an employee outside of the store when he was confronted about a theft.
After RCMP had contained a portion of South Lakeside. Â The 33 year old suspect fled into the Winners store where he was apprehended.
