free screening of a film on fly fishing in the Cariboo tonight in Williams Lake

The Great Outdoors plays a great part in the film “Surface” that was shot by two Fly Fishing journalists during their trip deep into the Cariboo.

To help promote and celebrate this pristine wilderness, the City of Williams Lake along with the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Association and the Cariboo Reputation Recovery Committee will host the free screening tonight at 6:30 at the Gibraltar Room.

Events and Marketing Co-Ordinator for the City of Williams Lake, Beth Holden says the evening doesn’t end when the movie is over.

“They’ll be a few speakers. We have someone from the Cariboo Reputation Recovery Committee coming to talk about the waters and the wilderness of the Cariboo”.

“Surface” captures stunning scenery and some of the best trout waters on the planet teeming with wildlife.
