A single vehicle incident just before six last night kept Williams Lake RCMP busy.
Staff Sargant Del Byron said a vehicle was travelling on North Mackenzie Avenue just south of Maple Street when a deer went out onto the road.
The vehicle swerved to avoid hitting the animal causing it to go down an embankment and on to the railway tracks near the Green Acres Trailer Park.
Police say the driver and baby were ok and the passenger received non-threatening injuries.
