100 Mile Fire Rescue Up Late Last Night

100 Mile House Fire Rescue responded to a mill fire of their own late last (May 30) night.

Fire Chief Roger Hollander says they were called to the Norbord OSB mill on Exeter Road at 11-52.

He says upon arrival they were told that the fire was in three separate locations in the mill.

Hollander says they were able to put them out with the help of mill staff.

Firefighters were on the scene for about three and a half hours.

No one was hurt and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
