Two Men Sentenced For Drugs In 100 Mile House

Two men, charged in connection with a large drug bust in the South Cariboo, have been sentenced in Provincial Court in 100 Mile House.

Richard Poudrier pled guilty to one count each of Production of a Controlled Substance, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Careless Storage of a Firearm and received a conditional sentence, 3 years probation and a 10-year Firearms Prohibition.

Ryan Delorme pled guilty to one count of Production of a Controlled Substance.

A charge of Trafficking was stayed and Delorme was also given a suspended sentence and 15 months probation and a Firearms Prohibition.

A third suspect’s case, Shawn Perkins’, is still before the courts.

100 Mile House RCMP say they executed a search warrant at a residence on Abel Lake Road near 105 Mile back in June of 2015.

Police say they seized between one and two million dollars worth of dried marijuana and marijuana plants as well as several firearms and more than 7 thousand dollars cash.
