Suspected Drug Traffickers Arrested In Williams Lake

Charges are pending following a drug bust in Williams Lake.

The Williams Lake RCMP’s newly formed Crime Reduction Unit, along with general duty members, executed a search warrant at a suspected drug trafficker’s residence on Sunday.

Police say they seized drugs suspected to be crystal meth, cocaine, heroin, shatter and marijuana as well as prohibited or modified firearms, including a rifle and a handgun plus more than 20 thousand dollars in cash.

Two men were arrested at the scene.

RCMP say both are local and known to them.

They are due to appear in court today. (May 29th)
