Farm Credit Canada is providing funding to 4-H clubs across the country, including in Quesnel.
Erin Kishkan, the key leader of the Quesnel 4-H District, says they received $500.00 in funding to go towards their annual achievement weekend.
4H generally runs from January through until the end of August, according to Kishkan.
She says members chose projects that are not only livestock projects but also things like photography, leathercraft, and gardening.
Kishkan says the kids are also expected to make public speeches and demonstrations.
Those interested in joining 4-H can call her at (250) 747-3836.
