Four Cariboo players at female U-18 BC Cup

Four females from the Cariboo will partake in this week’s U-18 BC Cup hockey tournament in Salmon Arm. The program is the highest BC Hockey has to offer before whittling it down further for players to audition to represent their province at nationals

That group of Cariboo players includes Cassidy Mellott of Lone Butte who gives us her expectations of the tournament:

Mellot, who also went to the BC Cup last year, played for the 100 Mile Midget Rep team this past season and also AP’d for the major midget Cariboo Cougars.
