A paramedic was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation Wednesday afternoon.
CRD Area D Director Steve Forseth, who presented the award with Wildwood Fire Chief Randy Worsley says it is important to recognize the services that emergency personnel provide.
“It is hard to get volunteers out to make sure our basic services like fire protection are manned, so I think it’s important to show that politicians recognize that the services that they provide are important.”
Wildwood Fire Chief Randy Worsley says the department was grateful for Ferguson’s support.
“As different agencies, we have to work together and it is so much appreciated when everything goes smoothly.”
Megan Ferguson who says she was thrilled about receiving the certificate, donated her personal time to show the Wildwood Volunteer Fire Department the interior and storage compartments of an ambulance.
