The Quesnel and District Chamber of Commerce has a new President.
William Lacy officially took over from Grahame Armstrong during the annual elections Wednesday afternoon.
Lacy says the goal this year is to get a couple of projects that are in progress to the finish line, including the resurrection of the Home and Outdoor Adventure Show…
“To get that up and running and make that a premier business event for the City.”
“We used to the trade show here in town, and I guess it went away for various reasons but to get that backup and giving the fantastic businesses in Quesnel an opportunity showcasing what they have to offer is one of our number one goals this upcoming year.”
Lacy says they will also be revamping the Business Excellence Awards.
The new Vice President is Michelle Daniels.
Tracey Bond is 2nd Vice President and Ryan Broughton is the Treasurer.
All of the executives got in by acclamation.
