Broom ball tournament from Family Fun Night gives back to community

The Cariboo Challenge Family Fun Night is a gift that just keeps giving to the community.

The Cariboo Family Enrichment Centre received $2,000 from the 100 Mile House Fire Department’s broom-ball tournament win but they weren’t the only winners according to Kathy Haveman with the Food Bank.

“We were at the Family Fun Night last Friday night and we were given a cheque by Lucille and Louise, volunteers of the Cariboo Dog Sled Society and our share was $500.00.”

The money was from RBC’s Financial Challenge win and was split with Loaves and Fishes Outreach.
