A male spent several hours pinned under an ATV following an accident in the South Cariboo.
100 Mile House RCMP Corporal Brian Lamb says they were called to the 7000 block of Grossett Road in Bridge Lake early Monday morning just after 4 o’clock.
He says the male was discovered by a truck driver, who fortunately had stopped on the side of the road to check his load, and heard some sounds coming from the male…
“Given the investigation so far there is some indication that the male had been pinned under the ATV since the night previous and the male was subsequently taken to 100 mile house hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries.”
Lamb says the male has since been transferred to Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops for further treatment.
His condition is unknown.
