BC Government Adopts Made In Quesnel Resolution

A Quesnel City Councillor is feeling pretty good today after the Provincial Government adopted one of his resolutions.

Ron Paull put forward a motion last year…

“There was a press release that came out this morning from Todd Stone, the Minister of Transportation and Highways, announcing that they’re moving towards this new improved highway marking paint and it even has glass beads embedded within it, and it’s reflective.”

The call for improved highway paint was unanimously approved by Quesnel City Council before going to the North Central Local Government Association in Dawson Creek and then the Union of BC Municipalities which then made the suggestion to the Liberal Government.

It’s not the first time that Paull has had success going this route.

His call for bringing back windshield chip repairs also made the grade and Paull has another resolution going forward this year calling on the province to align Family Day with the rest of Canada
