A total of 58 teams took part this past weekend in Williams Lake Big Brothers and Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake.

Executive Director, Melissa Newberry says this annual fundraiser was another success.

“We had a lot of fun this weekend, it’s one of the most interesting costumes we’ve seen. People really went all out, there was a lot of enthusiasm. Over the weekend we raised thirty-four thousand dollars so we’re feeling blessed”.

Newberry says the money raised from this event stays in Williams Lake and goes towards Big Brothers and Big Sisters in school mentoring programs.
