Williams Lake RCMP Respond to Stabbings

Williams Lake RCMP responded to two stabbings over the weekend.

RCMP Staff Sargeant Del Byron said On saturday morning at 11 on Gibbon Street three males got into an altercation with another male stabbing him twice in the head, sending him to hospital with minor injuries.

Then sunday morning at 2:20 in 150 mile house, Byron said two people ended up being stabbed when four females got into a fight resulting in minor injuries.

Both incidents are still under investigation.

100 Mile House RCMP have seized six counterfeit 100-dollar bills found circulating at local businesses. Police are asking local merchants to be vigilant, and report when they find counterfiet currency.
