RCMP have arrested a suspect in connection to a string of shootings at commercial semi-trucks traveling on Highways 16 and 97.
Information reported Saturday evening led police to believe the person in the alleged blue 2009 Dodge Caliber with Ontario plates had made it to the Chilliwack area.
The individual remains in police custody.
It is not known whether any weapons were recovered.
The radiators and windows of rigs being shot at with an unconfirmed weapon were reported near Houston, Burns Lake, Vanderhoof, Cluculz Lake, Prince George, Quesnel and 100 Mile House.
Police continue to investigate.
