Today is World Water Day.
We asked Community Liason for the Cariboo Chilcotin Conservation Society, Brianne Vandewijngaard how well the residents of Williams Lake are doing when it comes to conserving water.
“We take a look at the City’s water use and trends every year just to have an idea of how we’re doing. And I can say that, at least this past year we have seen a downward trend which is great”.
Vandewijngaard says there’s a test you can download from the Cariboo Chilcotin Conservation Society website that you record how much water you use around the house for a week along with some tips to help you conserve more on a daily basis.
