Sad Update Regarding MVI on Saturday in 100 Mile House

Some unfortunate news has been released by the RCMP following a head on collision this past Saturday in 100 Mile House.

Corporal Brian Lamb with the 100 Mile House RCMP gives us an update regarding a 16 year old male involved in the collision.

“On March,20th, 2017, The RCMP were informed that the male had succumbed to his injuries, he had stayed at Children’s Hospital in Vancouver.”

Lamb says both the Cariboo Chilcotin Traffic Services and BC Coroners Service continue to investigate the incident but road conditions are believed to be a contributing factor.

The name of the deceased is not being released by the RCMP at this time.

Any witnesses of the incident who have not come forward yet are asked to please contact the 100 Mile House RCMP.

A GoFundMe Page has been set up for the family here.
