MP McLeod Welcomes Applications for the Cariboo Youth Advisory Board

The Member of Parliament Kamloop for Kamloops – Thompson – Cariboo is starting a non-partisan youth advisory board that will welcome young people from across the Cariboo to have a voice on federal issues.

“The Cariboo Youth Advisory Board will give participants between the ages of 16 and 24 the opportunity to have direct and open dialogue on important topics of their choice. From Parliament Hill to their neighbourhood, all issues that are important to them are on the table,” says Cathy McLeod.

“Youth will be joined with other young leaders from the Cariboo, no matter their political viewpoint, and I anticipate we will have some thought-provoking discussions.”

Eight young leaders will be selected to sit on the Cariboo Youth Advisory Board for a one-year term, starting in May 2017.

Those wanting a copy of the application can contact the MP office at [email protected].

The deadline to apply is April 30, 2017
