A change in driving laws with regards to the treatment of construction and road maintenance vehicles has gone into effect.
Vehicles that are displaying a red, yellow, or blue light require motorists to slow down and move over says Cpl. Darren King of Cariboo-Chilcotin Traffic Services.
Those found in non-compliance of the Slow Down & Move Over law face a fine of $173 dollars and lose 3 points off of their license.
