Future Scientists Show Off Skills In Quesnel

The winners have been announced from the community science fair that was held yesterday at the College of New Caledonia in Quesnel.

First Class winners, all in grades 6 or 7 at Red Bluff Lhtako, included Matthew Generous for knowledge and originality.

Matthew’s project was called “Flexy Shot.”

Logan Cash and Adrien Closson won for creativity and originality.

Their project was called “The Amazing Fire Tornado.”

Lucs Grueter and Matthew Farmer received special recognition for in-depth knowledge for their project called “Wood Barrels and Black Powder.

Kenan Hanic and Allison Mastre won for Engaging and Enthusiastic Presentation.

Their project was “Dancing Blobs.”

And Paige Conlin, a student at Kersley, was also a first class winner for top grade 4 project.

It was called ‘Slime.”

There were roughly 40 exhibits overall.
