Two Williams Lake men, accused of being part of a drug trafficking network in BC’s Peace region, are scheduled to go to trial.
22-year old Lashway Merritt is due back in court on November 23rd in Dawson Creek while 26-year old Arin Charleyboy’s trial is set to start on January 22nd.
Both are facing a charge of Trafficking a Controlled Substance.
Charleyboy is also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
They were arrested back in September by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement of B.C. unit.
In total dozens of people were arrested.
Police say they seized cocaine, fentanyl, percocets, crystal meth and GHB, also known as the “date rape” drug.
