A 100 Mile House man has been found guilty of Attempted Murder.

A Supreme Court Jury also found Phillip Thomas May guilty of Use of a Firearm to Cause Bodily Harm and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of an Offence.

A date for sentencing will be set on March 13th.

A two week trial wrapped up in Williams Lake on Friday.

May, 59 at the time, was arrested back in May of 2014.

100 Mile House RCMP responded to a call of a man in distress in the 7000 block of 93 Mile Loop Road.

Police say upon arrival they discovered that a 39-year old man, also from 100 Mile, had been shot.

He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
