crd offering business facade grants to rural businesses

Once again the Cariboo Regional District is offering business facade grants to rural businesses.

It’s open to all commercial businesses located within the rural areas of the regional district in an effort to create vibrant commercial areas that attract new customers, visitors and potential investors.

Al Richmond, Chairman of the Cariboo Regional District explains how the program works.

“NDIT has provided us up to forty thousand dollars so we would entertain applications for the funding to a maximum for each project of five thousand dollars. So if you had a ten thousand dollar project you would be putting in five thousand and we would be putting in five thousand”.

Deadline for applications is May 31st and application forms are available online at cariboo r d dot ca or at CRD offices in Quesnel, Williams Lake and 100 Mile House.
