School District 27 has extended the deadline for public input on proposed changes to the 2017/18 school calendar until Wednesday.
Tanya Guenther is the Chair of the Board.
“Because they are quite significant in looking at changing the week at Christmas break as well as the curriculum implementation day which has typically been the first day of school in our District and looking at moving that to later in the month, it was felt the Board wanted some further input.”
Guenther says Trustees will be making their decision on the proposed revisions on March 14.
