Power Outage Affecting Nearly 3000 Customers in the South Cariboo

An MVI just north of 100 Mile House on HWY 97 will see nearly 3000 residents without power until later Friday night.

Dave Mosure, BC Hydro Community Relations Coordinator lets us know the affected areas.

“It’s going to affect everybody on the entire feeder so that includes 108 Ranch, Lac La Hache, and the highway on all sides from the Enterprise Road from the 100 Mile area, but it’s not including the Canim Lake Customers.”

Mosure says crews are on scene and estimating power to be on around 8pm tonight.

Updates will be posted on the BC Hydro website.

Country840 and TheGOAT radio stations in 100 Mile House are being affected by this outage.
