48-year old Robert John Paine is due back in court on May 26th.
He is facing once count each of Robbery, Forcible Confinement and Uttering Threats.
The charges are in connection with an alleged incident back in October.
RCMP say a suspect entered a victim’s vehicle and demanded cash before making the motorist then drive him to another location.
Police say he then left the vehicle and the victim, who was not injured but quite shaken, was then able to leave the area to seek help.
