Cariboo players at male U-16 BC Cup

BC Cup hockey tournaments continue this week in Salmon Arm with the male U-16’s taking to the ice.

One Cariboo player who tried out in Vanderhoof recently and made one of the rosters is William Paynton. A forward with the Williams Lake Bantam Rep T-Wolves, Paynton talks about try-outs:

Paynton will be joined by Williams Lake teammates Trey Thomas and Landon Fuller, as well as Cory Loring from Alexis Creek and Myles Mattila of Quesnel.

He goes on to sum up his expectations of the tournament:

The U-18 female tournament is next week in Salmon Arm and features four Cariboo players. We’ll have more on those players in a future story.
